Hello and WELCOME to Tara Katherine Photography.
My name is Tara, I am a Maternity, Newborn, Child and Fashion Photographer. I offer a bespoke service across Wiltshire, Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire and the Cotswolds, I am also available to travel throughout the UK and internationally for commissions.
I believe that as a photographer I am honoured and blessed to witness and capture the most precious and fleeting moments in life. That beautiful photography becomes even more precious and valuable with time, is a wonderful investment in your memories and a priceless legacy to leave for your children.
To be a photographer is to be a storyteller and a preserver of memories. A great photograph should not only capture a moment but when viewed should transport you back in time and remind you of exactly how you felt when that shutter was clicked.
I understand that the most precious thing in the world to you is your family and those you love. My greatest passion in life is creating unique, imaginative and beautiful fine art photographs for you to cherish, I always aim to capture the laughter, the most heartfelt emotions, the essence of childhood and of who you are and of course the love, I am all about the love.
I don’t aim to take photographs of what you look like but instead I aim to capture your heart and soul in my work, these are the things that make you and your family who you are.
My style has been described as emotive, creative, elegant, atmospheric and whimsical.
Portraiture sessions are always very relaxed and informal. I am a “on location” photographer which means all sessions will either take place in the comfort of your own home or other location of your choice such as a meadow, woodland, country park or beach, the choice is endless – is there a location that is special to you and your family?
Your session will never be rushed, I take the time to get to know you and your family. My approach is informal, friendly and above all else fun. I am a custom photographer which means I want to hear your ideas, I want to create something magical for you, something truly and wonderfully out of the ordinary.
